Description
Initially founded by Jean Desmet in 1909, granddaughter Ilse Hughan moved with Fortuna Films into production in 2002 focusing on Latin America. Working with directors as Lisandro Alonso, Paz Encina & Pablo Lamar. New project of Lisandro in development. President of Fundación TyPA, Argentina (www.typa.org.ar), has set up & directed, together with Violeta Bava, the first co-production market in Latin America, BAL/BAFICI & through TyPA new film workshops are being developed in Argentina & Mexico.
