Filmination is a Japanese trading company specialized in selling Japanese movies to global SVODs (Subscription Video on Demand). Filmination has tons of Japanese movies in the database including many award-winning movies which have never been distributed globally. Filmination is an official supporting member of Pia Film Festival (PFF), and an official sponsor for Japan Cuts Hollywood 2019.
Objective
The company’s mission is to discover and sell high-quality Japanese movies which have never been distributed worldwide (=New to SVODs worldwide) to increase the share of Japanese movies in the global movie market. Filmination is also considering financial support for Japanese independent movie makers. Through the investment for new movie production and sponsorship for global movie festivals, Filmination hopes to reach more Japanese movie fans globally.
