xtra-Muros is an association that was formed in 2004 by Aurélie Cardin in order to promote cinema, cparticularly in relation to the representation of various aspects of suburban life. That same year, the association launched the Cinébanlieue Festival, which promotes young suburban movie talents in need of visibility, with a competition rewarding the best of them.
