Description
The European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) is a joint initiative of the Council of Europe, the Open Society Foundations, and the Roma Leaders’ Alliance. ERIAC has a unique mandate as the first transnational organization for the recognition of Roma arts and culture. The Institute functions as a creative hub, supporting the exchange of ideas across borders, cultural domains, and Romani identities.
Objective
ERIAC’s presence at the key industry events underscores its ongoing commitment to advancing the representation and participation of Roma filmmakers and professionals across the European audiovisual sector. Through its engagement at the Marché du Film, ERIAC seeks to strengthen partnerships with production companies, institutions, and decision-makers who are aligned with its mission to promote greater inclusion and equity in the film industry.
