Description
ESCARLATA is a Barcelona-based production company focused on film projects, with no restrictions on genre, format or length. Our first feature, DRUNKMEN's MARSEILLAISE, was theatrically released in 2025 and has attended Seminci, Cinespaña, Fesival dei Popoli and Donostia Zinemaldia/San Sebastian International Film Festival, amongst other venues.
Objective
Even though, so far, we have been focused on non-fiction and visual arts, we are interested and open to meaningful storytelling that is able to reach all sorts of audience. We are currently developping several projects: POOL BUMS, a feature-length film by Pablo Gil Rituerto. THE SHORTEST BORDER IN THE WORLD, a documentary by Román Cadafalch Garaventa. GARAGONOCHE, a feature-length film by Alexander Cabeza-Trigg. I AM NOT A FILMMAKER, a documentary by Izabela Silva. And looking for others...
