EFA Productions gGmbH Founded in 2006 to produce the European Film Awards Ceremony, EFA Productions gGmbH is the in-house production company of the European Film Academy e.V. The first European Film Awards were held in 1988 and its mandate is to promote the richness and variety of European cinema.
