Description

The East Finland Film Commission functions as a single point of contact for local, national and international productions. We promote East Finland as a production location and offer our flexible services and practical know-how to advance the artistic aspirations of the filmmaker. Based on a Service Window principle we tend to the needs of the production throughout the entire production process.In our efforts to support film production and to strengthen East Finland's position as a viable production location, the East Finland Film Commission continually develops a film friendly cooperative network in the Joensuu area, North Karelia and the East Finland region. In addition to organizing and coordinating this network, we educate our local and regional contacts to the economic and logistical advantage of the production.
