Description
Being the producer of several feature and documentary films already, Oliver Stoltz founded Dreamer Joint Venture Film Production in March 1997 in Cologne, Germany. In 2001 Dreamer Joint Venture moved to Berlin. The company concentrates on the development and production of feature films and creative feature-length documentaries. Up-to-now the company has produced ten films, which have been screened at numerous national and international film festivals. Dreamer also focussed from the very beginning on supporting new talents - writers as well as directors- among them Isabell Kleefeld, Alice Agneskirchner, Martin Gypkens, Péter Pálatsik, Armin Voelckers and Ali Samadi Ahadi. The documentary LOST CHILDREN by Ali Samadi Ahadi and Oliver Stoltz, a film about former child soldiers in nothern Uganda premiered at the Berlinale in 2005, won the German Film Award 2006 for ‘Best Documentary‘ and several international prizes like the UNICEF Award 2005.
