Description
DCM was founded in 2008 by Dario Suter, Christoph Daniel and Marc Schmidheiny and started off as a film production company. The partners were joined by Joel Brandeis in 2010 and the trio became the Swiss quartet that DCM is today.After their own first feature film, DCM decided to gain a foothold in the film distribution business. This they achieved in 2011 with the successful restructure and takeover of Delphi Filmverleih, a long-established, Berlin-based film distribution company.
Objective
In addition to its own productions, DCM brings national and international films to cinema screens under the slogan “4 people who love to be entertained”. As of 2013, and under the management of Stephanie Candinas, it now also does so in Switzerland and DCM takes great pride in bringing carefully selected films to its home territory.
