With this niche position in the UK film industry, Day for Night takes fresh and distinctive independent films to wide and diverse audiences across the UK and beyond. Working with film festivals, venues, filmmakers and audiences, Day for Night's central aim is to enable broader access to visual culture through specialist distribution, curatorial projects and subtitling.
Day for Night seeks to enable access and boost audience choice for independent cinema from around the world. Our main areas of focus are independent Asian cinema and underrepresented areas of cinema. In parallel, we have vast expertise in subtitling, and alongside our distribution and curatorial activities we are uniquely positioned to offer the highest quality subtitles, making films more accessible to wide and diverse audiences.
