Description
Costa Rica International Film Festival (CRFIC) is one of the most important regional platform focused on the exhibition of national and international independent cinema. The project aims to benefit the Central American filmmaking sector as well as local audiences that are eager for new and different proposals. Acclaimed filmmakers such as Miguel Gomes, Kelly Reichardt, Michel Franco and Ciro Guerra have visited CRFIC to showcase their films.
Objective
CRFIC is developed by Costa Rican Film Institute, a branch of Costa Rica’s Ministry of Culture and Youth, and takes place every March in the city of San José.
