Description
Coala Filmes is an animation studio with 25+ years of experience. It has a structure that embraces all sorts of animation demands, like art department, modeling, scenography and studios. Among its works are the short films "RÊ BORDOSA DOSSIER" and "STORM”, exhibited in prestigious film festival such as Sundance and Hiroshima. "BOB SPIT – WE DO NOT LIKE PEOPLE", it’s first feature film, won the Contrechamp Prize at Annecy, where it premiered, as well as the Grand Prize at Ottawa.
Objective
Coala has just released two TV series, one based on Bill Plympton´s famous character, “Guard Dog & Bill Plympton in Brazil”, and “Gildo” a series for kids based on an award winning Brazilian book. Currently in production, we have our second feature “A Brazilian Penguin”, which mixes stop-motion and live-action, and a stop-motion horror short. We are also in pre-production in two feature films. We are looking for co-production partners, distributors and financiers on those and future projects.
