Description
Founded in 2000, Coala Filmes is a stop-motion production company that mixes art and original content. Based in São Paulo, Brazil, the company's first feature film, “Bob Spit - We Do Not Like People", was selected for the Animation Day at Cannes 2019 (Annecy goes to Cannes), and it has a 2020 release date.
Objective
Coala has several projects in the years to come: we are producing a second season of the TV Series Angeli The Killer, we are about to finish production on our first feature film, the stop-motion mix of comedy and road-movie “Bob Spit - We Do Not Like People", and we'll soon start pre-production on the kids film “A Brazilian Penguin", which mixes live-action and stop-motion. We are looking for co-production partners, distributors and financiers on those and other of our future projects.
