CANANA is a film and television production and distribution company based in Mexico City whose fundamental vision is to develop and distribute films of the highest caliber. CANANA was founded in 2005 by Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna and Pablo Cruz. Over the past years, CANANA has distributed over 50 arthouse and international films in Mexico and produced over 10 including "Chavez", “Miss Bala", "Abel”, and “Sin Nombre”. CANANA Distribution has been releasing international arthouse films in Mexico for five years and boasts a catalog of more than 50 films released theatrically, digitally and on DVD and TV. CANANA titles include the award-winning "Pina", “Gomorra”, “The Milk of Sorrow”, “Man on Wire”, “The White Ribbon”, “Fish Tank”, “I’m Still Here”, and “Ajami” among others.
