The world's most innovative filmmakers have attended the festival, such as Tsai Ming-liang, Carlos Reygadas, Jia Zhang-ke, Vimukthi Jayasundara, Pen-ek Ratanaruang, Cai Shangjun, Yoshihiro Nishimura.
