Description
BASIS BERLIN Filmproduktion is an independent film production company based in Berlin. We focus on the development of high-quality national and international feature as well as documentary films and documentary TV formats. The documentary OF FATHERS AND SONS was nominated for the German Film Award 2019 and the Academy Award in 2019 in the category Best Documentary and won Sundance Film Festival in 2018. TASTE OF CEMENT nominated for the German Film Award in the category Best Documentary.
Objective
BASIS BERLIN Filmproduktion is always looking for new projects and possible co-productions. We are interested in high-class international narrative cinema documentaries, high-class documentary series and minority co-productions of fictional projects. We offer great experience in international financing and have direct access to many international funders and investors . With our own postproduction facilities in the center of Berlin, we are able to co-invest in films.
