Description
Austin Film Society is a 501(c)3 organization that supports film culture and filmmaking in the state of Texas. AFS operates a 2-screen art house theater, the AFS Cinema; Austin Studios, a 20-acre production facility; and Austin Public, a filmmaker and community education center and television studio. AFS Artist Services programs have awarded more than $1.8 million in grants to filmmakers since 1996.
