Arthouse Blockbusters is a production company based in Berlin and Sofia established by Boris Despodov with the intention to produce author-driven films which have the qualities to approach a wider audience. We believe in the power of art to not only entertain but to engage, inform, inspire, and provoke social change. We are committed to supporting alternative, independent, and radical films and artists who dare to devote time, passion and resources to telling stories from the margins.
