Description
Arissas is based in Rio de Janeiro since 2008 and dedicated to the production of authorial films with potential for international distribution. Among its most recent works is POWER ALLEY (2023), debut film by Brazilian director Lillah Halla (Fipresci Award Critic’s Week at Cannes, Youth Jury Award at Rotterdam, Best Iberoamerican Film at Palm Springs and more than 30 awards around the world) and HILDA’S SHORT SUMMER, by Uruguayan director Agustín Banchero (San Sebastián New Directors 2021).
Objective
We are currently preparing the shooting of BEYOND THE EDGE, by Jô Serfaty, looking for coproducers and sales agents to complete our financing gap. Our development line-up also includes feature projects from emerging Brazilian and Latin American directors looking for international coproducers and financing partners.
