Description
Aqueles Films is a film production company based in São Paulo dedicated to creating high-quality works that tackle bold subjects. Led by an LGBTQ+ and PoC team, the company uses genre narratives and a pop approach to foster diversity and inspire new dialogues.
Objective
The horror feature Raised from the Ground was shot in October 2025 and already has 80% of its budget secured which allowed us to complete principal the shooting. We are now looking for co-producers interested in joining the post-production and distributors. The feature doc Whipping Hair!, unveils the story of an artistic queer creation that became a living symbol of memory, embodiment, and resistance. The film is completed and currently seeking an international sales agent and distributor.
