Description

Founded in 2014 Mariana Monroy with over fifteen years of experience in the film, television and advertising industry, Animal Tropical is a Mexican film enterprise that has collaborated with renowned production companies, such as Mantarraya (Amat Escalante and Carlos Reygadas) and Catatonia Films (Hari Sama). This production company aims through each project to give voice to new talents and works that echo in the international scope.

Objective

We are an emerging Mexican production company that seeks to produce memorable stories which the audience can relate to. We produce mainly art house movies, both fiction and documentary feature films alike. We are part of the new generation of young Latin American filmmakers who want to make something different. Our goal is to develop and produce small budget movies, which have something inspiring to address and whose scripts are innovating.
