Description
AGOSTO Cine is a production company founded in Santiago de Chile, 2017. Our short films include “I'm still here” (HotDocs), “SNAP” (Special Jury Mention Labo Clermont Ferrand), "The Summer of the Electric Lion" (First Prize Cinéfondation Cannes) and the experimental feature film "Potential Victim" by Nicolás Guzmán (Black Nights Tallinn, 2018). Currently, we are working on the first feature films by young authors than explore the cinematographic language.
Objective
Agosto Cine is constantly seeking alliances and developing projects that have an innovative and critical perspective about the intersection of cinema and reality and that propose new languages, narratives, and ways of contributing to social reflection through this art form.
