    • Synopsis
    • On a jewel of an island floating in the Caribbean Sea, William Shakespeare's MACBETH is retold using a fictitious modern-day monarchy as its backdrop, a country populated and ruled by "People of Color" allowing this universal story to come alive as never before, in a tale filled with SEX, VIOLENCE and POETRY (with a PG-13 rating - followed by a NC-17 Director's Cut rating).
After winning a gallant military victory over rebels fighting in opposition to King Duncan, who is the adored ruler of the souvenir nation of Antibes, General Macbeth encounters 3 Witches, these "Wired Sisters" are the spirit daughters of Mother Africa, who reign over fire, water, air and earth. They delight in the manipulation of Macbeth by feeding him predictions of royal titles including "King." Macbeth soon becomes obsessed with ambition, as does his beautiful and ruthless wife Lady Macbeth.
Macbeth and his Lady soon spiral downward, indulging in treachery and political assassinations to acquire power, with both eventually becoming so haunted by their murderous deeds, they are driven mad.
In a true testimonial of a tragedy, brave Macbeth is defeated by his own zealous thirst for power - a heartbreaking end to a once-beloved hero.
