    • Synopsis
    • A successful Slovak restoration artist Eva (36) runs away from a failed relationship to a mysterious and remote town of OTOL somewhere in the former Soviet Union. Her assignment is to restore an orthodox chapel for the town´s mafia boss Lev Alexandrovic. The conditions are far from ideal - the town had recently been devastated by an explosion of a chemical factory and the town is only slowly coming back to life. As she works on the chapel, Eva slowly gets to know the town´s residents and learns about their dark mysteries, in the process of which she finds what has been missing in her life until now.
