- Synopsis
- Marcos and Ayrton are brothers that barely know each other. Marcos, the older, was up-brought and lives abroad, where he has a very square life; married with two kids he works in a bank. Ayrton lives in Brazil and spends his time wasting his family’s money, in big parties, girls, drugs and alcohol. Their father is run over by a car and goes to an ICU in a hospital. As a result, Marcos comes back to Brazil, after a long period away. As soon as he arrives in Brazil, Marcos goes deep in the São Paulo nightlife and starts having many arguments with his brother. After the father’s death, Marcos and Ayrton have to get together and start to investigate the family’s business, finding, among many illegal and weird businesses of their father, a brothel. While checking the brothel, Marcos learns of Janaina, a former prostitute, who was his father’s girlfriend. Mr. Teixeira, a corrupt police officer, is also partner of the brothel and wants to bargain Armando’s share after his death. Ayrton notices the mischievously take over offer and assumes a defensive position. After many other confrontations Ayrton and Marcos have a big argument, after which Marcos, completely destroyed and different from the character we saw at the beginning of the film, ruins himself between drugs and prostitutes in a late disco. The conflict between the two brothers is now achieving its summit. At the opening of Armando’s will, the brothers learn about the existence of another heir: a third brother. Ayrton fights with Marcos to do a DNA test with Janaina’s son. The DNA test brings a surprising result, carrying us to a completely unexpected ending, changing forever the lives of Marcos, Ayrton, Janaina and the third brother.
