    • Synopsis
    • Suchet takes viewers on a pilgrimage through England and Wales, visiting Britain's great cathedrals. We will explore some of the old and well-worn pilgrim routes and a few of the newer ones which have been created as more people today feel compelled to take to the road in search of spiritual solace and reassurance.

      In this three-part series, we will visit twenty-five of Britain’s cathedrals and abbeys along with the ruins of some important sacred sites. We will explore many of the ancient traditions which took people of faith on often long and perilous journeys in search of miracles, healing or some tangible confirmation of their religious beliefs.
