- Synopsis
- In the aftermath of the second world war, the police investigate a series of bank robberies in Copenhagen, Denmark ending in a homicide, perpetrated by a severely mentally ill man who had been a nazi collaborator during the war. Deemed by most an open and shut case, a young investigator digs deeper trying to explain the logic behind the words and actions of the man who committed these crimes. What he discovers is an intricate conspiracy involving the unprecedented use of manipulation and hypnosis, and a plan to shake the foundation of society.
  
  Based on the true story of the 'Hypnosis Murders' of Copenhagen in 1951 which is a widely debated case in the field of psychiatry to this day.
