- Synopsis
- TYLER GAGE (Channing Tatum) is the star of the dance floor at every party he crashes, but the rest of his life doesn't run quite so smoothly – he’s defiant, street smart, and wears the wounds of having spent his childhood bouncing from one foster home to another. One night of not-so-innocent trouble lands him in front of a judge at juvenile court. The punishment: two hundred hours of community service at the place he trashed – a school for the performing arts. Tyler enters the school a misfit, but quickly catches the eye of NORA CLARK (Jenna Dewan), a spectacular dancer who recognizes Tyler’s raw talent and gets permission from the school for Tyler to fulfill his community service requirement by dancing with her. He accepts – it beats picking up trash. But, once they get started, he unexpectedly finds himself enjoying it...and falling for Nora.
