- Synopsis
- It is the story of a couple who unable to have a child return an island off of Scotland where the husband's family lives in order to establish residency so that they may adopt a child. Once there "Tora" discovers a body of a woman buried in a shallow grave on their property but the body is both mutilated and has strange carvings on it which she recognizes as carvings she has seen throughout the island. Told by her husband's father to let the police investigate, Tora can't let it be and soon discovers that this woman and so many others have been used in rituals dating back to ancient times which will soon have a direct impact on her and her husband.
