- Synopsis
- Based on the best-selling novel “Rain Fall” written by Barry Eisler, this movie is a hard-boiled action suspenser with a feel of “The Professional” and “Bourne Ultimatum” combined. Set in the contemporary metropolis Tokyo and its labyrinth-like underground world, the story centers on John Rain(by Kippei Shiina), a half breed assassin who has been used by William Holtzer(by Gary Oldman), the Chief Officer of the CIA Tokyo Bureau, to orchestrate a conspiracy in order to manipulate the Japanese Government.
  The film is distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment in Japan.
