    • Synopsis
    • Roman sits in a deserted Southwestern shack with the stolen gems and awaits his backstabbing partner, Mallick, fresh off an infidelity with Roman’s wife. A duel ensues and leaves a bullet riddled Roman speeding off to a remote location to make a quick hand off to his son. Boyd gets the call, but arrives too late and fails to find his father.

Seven years later, and Roman’s blood having dried off some from Mallick’s hands, Mallick takes leave of his reduced prison sentence and immediately maneuvers to settle some unfinished business. Boyd, now a recently out of work mechanic, financially supported by a diner-shift working gal named Sloan, gets an expected visit from Mallick. The two say their piece, till Mallick is forced out by gunpoint, with the residual left from the encounter, “Give me what your father owed me”.

With the threat of death and potential of a small fortune, Boyd, Sloan, and Boyd’s best friend, small time crook, Russell, charter a rugged search in the wild to locate the disputed goods of Mallick’s. Urban dwellers they are, the treacherous Sonoran desert is an extreme mental and physical test, as they encounter the severest of elements. In addition, they must choose whether or not a fugitive lifestyle is worth the discovery of the inheritance, as the good local people around them quickly become casualties to the manic pursuer driving the hunt each step further.
