    • Synopsis
    • When an invading space monster destroys the superhero sent to repel him, a world competition is launched to seek the best super robot to fight the monster. McDull is an average boy growing up in a fishing village and dreaming of being a famous inventor. With no mask, no red underwear and certainly no superpowers he takes on the challenge and starts tinkering with his mother’s appliances. The result is Risopot, a decidedly low-tech, high powered robot that has evolved from a rice cooker. With the help of the jubilant villages McDull produces the robot and secures a birth in the finals. Risopot is a true product of community effort, rough around the edges and lacking sophistication but overall functional. Through a lot of tenacity and a fair dose of luck McDull and Risopot win the competition but now the gravity of the mission to protect planet earth starts to sink in. Surely a pig’s head and a pot cannot save the day?
