- Synopsis
- Puerto Rico 1508. Rumor comes to the Spanish Catholic Church that legendary springs in the New World restore the youth of anyone who drinks or bathes in its waters thus making humans like gods. The Church will not allow common men to insult the Almighty and dispatches the famous inquisitor Miguel De Morillo to investigate this heresy. De Morillo requires the Governor of Puerto Rico, Juan Ponce de León, to put an expedition together to find and destroy the springs. The group travels through the jungle led by an English sailor, Thomas Williams who has lost his entire crew in an attempt to find the extraordinary waters 3 years before and who has been rotting in the deadly jails of Puerto Rico. In addition to the many dangers of the jungle the expedition will soon confront the prehistoric creatures which have been drinking from the springs for ages.
