- Synopsis
- An Island in the middle of Lake Maggiore in Italy, where in the solace of a winter evening, the magical atmosphere of this enchanted place surrounded by mountains could very well turn into a nightmare for Bianca, a young diabetic woman alone, disoriented and terrorized by a hypoglycaemic crisis which is about to consume her.
  But Bianca, after trying unsuccessfully to get help from her friends and family, discovers she has a new fundamental reference point in her life: her doctor.
  The story of a desperate attempt of rescue trying to find the light in the belief that often the greatest suffering for a patient is that of feeling like an “island”.
