Yet Erwin needs her. And how Johanna craves his forgiveness. Sleeping with a Nazi saved her family. Hearing how they still they hate her for this, Erwin turns on them. Truly he is his mother’s hero. Then he’s gone. Someone’s watching Erwin.
When Johanna doggedly goes in search of Erwin, again, she finds herself in deep trouble. Not only is Erwin a spy. He’s not her son. This is the worst thing that could happen to her. Johanna loves Erwin. He’s used her, ruthlessly. And he won’t tell her who he really is. Johanna is in torment.
Will Johanna find her son, the real Erwin?
Erwin the spy knows. But will he help Johanna?
