    • Synopsis
    • As she scrutinizes around town and makes constant civil complaints, NA Ok-boon is known as the ‘Goblin Granny’, a civil complaint queen, and is a nightmare to the market merchants and the civil servants of the district office. Her biggest challenge after 20 years of filing complaints is Min-jae, a very principled entry level civil servant, who comes to stand up against the impetuous granny in her 70s with the eyes of a hawk for trouble.
Granny NA Ok-boon is not only passionate about making civil complaints, but also learning English! When she finds out Min-jae studied abroad and is proficient in English, she clings to him for help. Although they are as different as they could be, they make a deal. Granny NA agrees to refrain from making civil complaints and cook for Min-jae’s younger brother in exchange for English lessons. The very outspoken granny who can’t speak in English and Min-jae, the principled man who can’t talk to his brother, start to open up to each other. In turn, Min-jae’s curiosity grows as to why Granny NA is so eager to learn English.
