    • Synopsis
    • Mina, an attractive thirty year old, having spent the morning with her older lover, goes to the Belgrade airport to pick up her handsome husband Petar and his colleague. On the way back, she silently listens to them talk about their trip. At home, while Petar is in the shower, Mina disappears.

Petar goes to their friends’ party as planned, telling them she felt sick. But as she doesn’t appear the next day he just keeps on lying. At work, where his job is to make clients not feel bad about breaking the law, the pressure grows as a new deal approaches. His boss is a wife of an influential politician, which helps them land the biggest construction jobs in Serbia.

In the constant summer heat, Petar can’t sleep and spends the nights running through the empty streets. He won’t admit anything’s wrong, but his emotions are pouring out and the more he tries to suppress them, the harder they hit back.

Petar tries to turn to someone, but his family is preparing for the big Slava dinner party, his sister is obsessing over the her child and the restaurant she’s opening and his unfaithful best friend’s wife looks for comfort in him. No one sees he’s unwell.
He turns to partying, night after night, before completely breaking down and having a minor car accident. His inner demons have been unleashed and maybe he is not as kind as he thought he was, which petrifies him.

It has been a week, and there is still no sign of Mina. At his parents party, she shows up. After the party, they spend the night making plans for summer holidays, while walking through the empty city, never even mentioning her absence.

The next morning, she drives him to work.
