Sofia has just left the house where she lived in Buenos Aires and checks into a Hotel. She intends to stay here while looking for a new place to live. Therefore she is staying in a hotel in her own city, feeling lonesome and anxiously waiting for a visit by Antônio, her boyfriend, who lives in Brazil. They carry a long distance relationship.

When Antônio finally arrives they try to stay together as much as possible, but, as time passes, distance seems to grow in between them inside this room at Hotel Mundial..

The whole narrative takes place inside this hotel room. This story about distance is told from the perspective of presence, mixing documentary and fictional records.
