- Synopsis
- In 1942 Lebanon AISHA was born from a father working at the train station and a woman tailor. They were very poor. At 12 her parents died.
  AISHA marries CHRISTIAN (a French designer and her father’s friend) and works with him in France. The huge age difference made their marriage unbearable (CHRISTIAN was gay).
  At 25 AISHA left CHRISTIAN and went to India and worked in the movie industry with RAJIV (a married filmmaker). Their secret love didn’t last, and to save the situation RAJIV sent AISHA to Egypt where she could continue her artistic career with his Egyptian partner WAJDI (a musical producer).
  In Egypt, at 32 she is known as a singer. WAJDI and AISHA got married. 8 years later she got pregnant. WAJDI is having a lot of political problems, sends AISHA with ALEX (her Spanish guitarist) to hide in Spain.
  In Spain, ALEX imprisons her in an old house for 8 months, until one day 5 men invaded the house and killed ALEX (who in fact was protecting her from the enemies of WAJDI). AISHA jumped from the window and lost conscience.
  Her son is dead. AISHA lost her sight. She found herself sold to a South African rich man: ABRAHEM. For the next 15 years in total darkness she lived a weird life of hallucination but also an inner peace.
  ABRAHEM sent her free. She went to USA where she was cured. Sometime after September 11, she met a 17 years Egyptian young man; he broke into her house (accused to be a terrorist). Spending one week with her: a lot of things tell her that he is her dead son. Was he?
