- Synopsis
- In Vienna, the seven year-old music prodigy Hans delivers a stellar piano performance to a captivated audience. None present, however, could possibly imagine that the young boy onstage was destined to evolve into the pop music phenomenon known as FALCO…
  Hans’ burning desire to become a rock star leads him through several different bands and live performances. Driven by ambition and inspired by David Bowie, he creates a wild new name and image for himself, and the icon Falco is born. His rapid rise takes the music world by storm, and he soon achieves worldwide cult status with the legendary hit “Rock Me Amadeus”, which becomes a #1 hit in over a dozen countries, including the US, the UK, Spain and Japan.
  But that success comes with a price. Unable to cope with his skyrocketing fame, Falco immerses himself in an alcohol and drug haze that damages his professional and personal lives. Then suddenly, one after another of his concert tours are cancelled. Falco’s star is rapidly fading…
  After his world begins to unravel around him, he moves to the Dominican Republic to get a new start. It is there that Falco dies in an unexplained car accident in 1998…
