    • Synopsis
    • Peyton and Elena are, on the surface, diametrically opposed – one, a well-known writer, the other a mother and wife of a pastor. Elena’s life is passionless. She’s sure that she isn’t meant to have a soul mate as her best friend, Tyler, believes and teaches in his “soulemetry” sessions. When Peyton and Elena’s paths cross, several times over, what begins as friendship quickly blossoms into something deeper. Elena is startled to realize she can’t imagine not having Peyton in her life. And despite the fact that she has never even considered kissing a woman, she is overwhelmed with a desire to do just that. Peyton’s best friend, Wave, warns her that when she told her to “do stuff that made her feel good” she didn’t mean do straight married stuff. Peyton intellectually knows she’s right, but when Elena pushes her toward a full-blown affair, Peyton’s heart tells her something different. The two women fall deeply in love, both keenly aware a future together might be little more than a dream.
