- Synopsis
- Kate Nolan (Emma Caulfield, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Darkness Falls”) has everything she could want: a doting new husband, her beautiful 10 year old daughter, and a successful career. When her estranged father passes away, leaving her a Victorian mansion and an 11 million dollar fortune, she is astounded.
  Kate is thrilled by her good luck, and the family moves in to their new home. She tries to forget about recent mental troubles that have left her taking medication for stress and vivid nightmares. But her dreams of a fresh start begin to crumble as a freak accident electrocutes her in the bath. She barely survives, and the police think she’s attempted suicide…
  Then she begins to see women in the house. Dead ones. Watching her. She sees them reflected in mirrors, looking out of windows and in her dreams. She imagines brutal murders. Women are throttled with nylon rope and butchered with a hunting knife by an unseen killer. Kate begins to think she’s losing her mind.
  The stress and fear brings back memories of her parents. Her mother died under mysterious circumstances. Although it was deemed suicide, Kate always suspected her father. Kate’s mother was also a known psychic, and it seems she may have inherited this ability.
  Kate’s husband is close to having her committed when she begins raving about murders that happened in their own home. But when her vision leads her to discover an important clue – a gold ring belonging to a dead prostitute lodged in her bathroom drain – he and the police are forced to take her seriously.
  As the visions grow stronger and more gruesome, Kate realizes that the ghosts are trying to lead her to avenge their deaths – and the murderer is closer to her than she could ever imagine.
