    • Synopsis
    • It has been a year since 40-year-old Thomas was left by his wife Marie. She got to keep their house and still sleeps in the bed they shared for so long. Thomas has allegedly accepted this big change in his life, and seems to have rediscovered love with his new, young girlfriend Merel.

But appearances can be deceiving. Thomas has trouble letting go of his old life: he parks his car in front of his ex wife's house every morning. After she leaves the building, he enters his former house. He takes a shower without haste, walks about the living room, waters the plants and peacefully smokes a cigarette in the garden. After all has been tidied up, he leaves the house at 9:00 am. He then rushes to the hospital, where he has a job as a medical photographer.

Thomas’ orderly life slowly starts to crumble down when he finds out Marie has a new lover, a younger physical gym teacher. He continues his voyeuristic behaviour with the same meticulousness as before, only now he observes both Marie’s life and the life of her new partner. Will Thomas retrieve his happiness?
