    • Synopsis
    • Caravana is an unrequited love story. The protagonist, Antonio (30), is an employee of a forsaken desert junkyard on a forgotten highway. One day, there is an accident on the road, a newly wed couple travels on it, he dies, she survives (Celeste). The van where they traveled arrives to the junkyard. Antonio develops a special relationship with it; through the objects he finds inside he imagines and fantasizes about a better life; one with a woman who loves him. Antonio likes to pretend he is the man of the newly wed couple, an emotional and physical appropriation of the space begins. However, and against Antonio´s plans, a mourning Celeste travels to the junkyard to recover what belongs to her. At the beginning Antonio sees her as a menace to his new life order, but he eventually falls in love with her. The encounter between these two characters will bring as a consequence the total abandonment and detachment from the wasteland: the junkyard, the past. Even if this means that neither Antonio nor Celeste will ever see each other again.
