    • Synopsis
    • An artist community thrives in 475 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn until a January night in 2008 when ax welding firemen sent by government agencies march down the halls militaristically evicting the three hundred families, some with newborn babies. Authorities say that grain stored for a Matzo Factory, operating for ten years in the basement, is an imminent danger. The artists courageously unite but their world is compromised. The filmmaker becomes a part of the scene with sculptor, Deborah Masters and Jazz pianist, Connie Crothers for the following years in this requiem to a way of life.
