- Synopsis
- A tragic car accident leaves a successful novelist, BILL OAKLAND (Clive Owen) blind and also kills his wife. For years he loses the will to live and write until a woman reawakens his interest in life. SUZANNE DUTCHMAN, the wife of a high powered businessman, has been living in an empty marriage for some time, and when her husband is sent to jail, she falls for Bill and a passionate love affair ensues. But when Suzanne’s husband is acquitted and released from prison, she has to make the heartbreaking choice between her husband of 10 years and the new love that is more powerful than anything she has ever experienced.
