- Synopsis
- Suddenly there is a real prospect of peace in the Middle East?! They won't need the helmets of the peacekeeping force anymore? The heroic defenders of the countries there will be sent home? There won't be any more opportunities for war profiteers? This new situation is unsettling for everybody – and for most of them downright unwelcome!
  
  It is at this point that we encounter Werner Baumschlager, the likeable, good-natured, blundering Austrian officer who inadvertently becomes the plaything of various interests. Due to his curious activities on both sides of the border – which are in fact of an entirely private nature – he quickly comes to be regarded by everybody involved as a dangerous spy.
  
  Soon he is being not only pursued by the various Armed Forces and those who benefit from the conflict one way or another, but actively used by them to undermine the peace that nobody really wants.
  
  And most of all, it’s the story of three women each believing they “own” one man - who only wants to see everyone around him happy ...
