- Synopsis
- Akihabara -- the world’s center of cyberculture. It is the largest and most supplied “electric market” in the world, where even foreign tourists will not miss to pay a visit, is stocked with the latest audio visual devices to dubious junk gadgets. Known as “Akiba” today, the city is calling attention as the birthplace of Japanese unique pop culture. The story begins with five “drop outs” from society coincidentally crossing each other’s path in Akihabara through an “incident.” In hopes to start their lives anew, the five of them establish a small start-up company, “Akihabara@DEEP.” Combining their unmatched skills and knowledge, the five members tirelessly work deprived of sleep until they develop an innovative search engine they name “CROOK,” which brings turmoil to the IT world! They are finally able to find confidence in themselves and that “something” they can be passionate about. Then, before them appears a mammoth IT company eyeing at their search engine! In this unreasonable society overruled by money and power, the five members are ready to give in their all and play the biggest game of their life as a team!!
