    • Synopsis
    • One morning, Maud wakes up in a half-dead body. Her brain suffered a stroke, she's incapable of walking. From this abandoned body, only remains the thoughts of the filmmaker who tries to recover. Back from the hospital, she has to face the inevitable loneliness in which this disease forces her to be. A one-night insomnia and she turns the TV on. A man appears on the screen, a lout in an expensive suit, a gypsy with a tie. His name is Vilko. The 135 000 000 USD that he has swindled in Hong-Kong are making him an international star. He's not elegant, neither handsome, he's a boorish but he has a great presence. Maud wants him for her next film. She'll never do it. He will swindle her as well. Taking advantage of the weakness of her body and spirit, he will take her huge amounts of money. In the end, the money has no importance, the more she signs the cheques, the more present he is with her as she is as vulnerable as a new-born child. She's looking for some help. He is not always a liar. He is a broken orphan and in Maud, he finds a mother. They form a particular family. But, despite all, there is an irresistible and extremely smooth abuse of weakness.
