Description
The Space Cinema, created in 2009 by the merger of Warner Village Cinema and Medusa Multicinema, is the leader of the Italian market of exhibition. At the end of 2014, Vue Entertainment International, the UK group founded in 2003 by Timothy Richards and Alan McNair acquired the company from 21 Investimenti and Mediaset. The VUE group now operates across 9 territories including UK, Germany, Ireland, Denmark, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania Italy and Taiwan with a turnover of 900 million euro, equal to one and half times the entire Italian market. The Space Cinema has 36 multiplex in every Italian region, 362 screens including 1 VIP auditorium, 79.000 standard and VIP seats. The circuit has a market share of 20%
