NATIONAL CINEMA CENTER OF ARMENIA

Description

National Cinema Center of Armenia is a state funding body which supports the Armenian film industry at the key stages of film production, including script development, production, promotion and distribution with particular attention paid to international co-productions. It also aims to contribute to the promotion of Armenian cinema and to foster new artistic accomplishments and acknowledgment of Armenian filmmakers worldwide.

Objective

To preserve, develop and promote national film traditions. Create high-quality feature, short and animated films of national production in accordance with international standards. Ensure equal conditions while selecting film projects on a competitive basis. Create animated and youth films for young audiences, as well as provide debut film support. Implement film programs in cooperation with international film organizations. Ensure participation in international film festivals and markets.
